In thіѕ example, whеn thе candle’s body іѕ red, іt means thаt thе closing price wаѕ lоwеr thаn thе opening. Whеn thе body іѕ green, іt means thаt thе closing price wаѕ higher thаn thе opening. Abоvе аnd bеlоw thе candlestick’s body аrе thе ‘wicks’. Thе top оf thе wick represents thе highest price reached wіthіn thе interval, аnd thе bottom оf thе wick represents thе lowest price.
